A Mountain of Sky

This song is really about the awesomeness of nature...in this case, Everest
The literal pinnacle of the earth, standing atop, there is nothing more one can see above it.
On the summit, there is simply mountain and sky and the Mountain requires nothing and wants nothing from mankind.

The notion of it being ‘conquered’ is ridiculous...man sets his own self esteem and value by just trying to get to the top of it...whereas, the mountain simply IS.

It IS aloof, majestic, beautiful and timeless...
